L6 students attended the EESW welcome meeting on Wednesday, 9th October at the University of Wales, Treforest.
The teams met their link engineers, Sian and Clive, who are part of an all-Wales NHS organisation that promotes and facilitates the delivery of high standards in the built environment and facilities management in healthcare in Wales.
The built environment plays a crucial role in patient care, patient experience and the quality of non-clinical services in the NHS is essential to the delivery of quality healthcare.
The brief is based on the engineering focus, Built Environment and the teams are required to look at Sustainability as a main factor while designing a replacement hospital.
