On 12th May, we said a fond farewell to our Upper VI leavers on their last day prior to revision leave. A function area, decked out in balloons and banners, was booked for the occasion at the EBP Milk & Sugar Restaurant with drinks and pastries provided. Mr Moody gave a speech to the students, some of whom had been at St John's since they were three-year-olds! He thanked them for their contributions to the school over the years and wished them success in their impending examinations. It said a lot about St John's that so many staff were in attendance from such a wide range of departments and key stages, all signing shirts and swapping reminiscences on a day where emotions ranged from tearfully nostalgic to celebratory.
