Students Volunteering
The pastoral team is immensely proud of all our students who consistently bring positivity and understanding to our school community. Whether it’s offering a smile or a kind word when things don’t go as planned, especially during challenging times like tests, their dedication to supporting younger pupils does not go unnoticed. We extend our heartfelt thanks to them for their generosity and time.
Sixth Form First Aid Volunteers
A special thank you to our Sixth Form students who have volunteered their time to assist at several school events this week. After earning their first aid qualifications in October, it’s inspiring to see them actively applying these skills to support the school. The next first aid course will be offered in October 2025, and we hope it will continue to attract enthusiastic participants, equipping them with valuable skills as they prepare for the future.
R15 Lunchtime Wellbeing Volunteers
Our R15 students have shown their key strengths when applying for the role of Wellbeing Prefect. These dedicated volunteers spend part of their lunch breaks assisting younger pupils who may need companionship, support with homework, or simply a listening ear. Their commitment to fostering a nurturing environment is something we take great pride in.
Sixth Form Chill and Chat Volunteers
Every Wednesday lunchtime, a small group of Upper Sixth students make themselves available at the main site for pupils to drop in, share their concerns, and enjoy a friendly chat. With a quiet space, a warm smile, and a biscuit in hand, these volunteers create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages open conversations. Their efforts exemplify the power of kindness and connection in our school community.
