On Monday 15th January the pupils of R8 and R9 had the amazing opportunity to take part in a writing workshop hosted by Jack Meggitt-Phillips, author of The Beast and the Bethany. 

The classroom became alive with our pupils feverishly creating an image of their favourite place to spend time. We went on plane rides, visits to Saudi Arabia, Lego adventures and sweet lands, to name a few. Next it was time to conjure up a disastrous event! Finally they could choose either a happy or sad ending. The pupils demonstrated their fantastic vocabulary skills and produced some extremely inspiring work. I think we may have some budding writers in the making.
