On Tuesday 25th June, 8 girls from R15 who have declared an interest in a career in Computing or Cyber Security attended the annual Year 10 Girl Event with Cyberfirst Wales at the Abacws campus at Cardiff University. The day involved a number of inspiring talks from females within the industry alongside some challenging and engaging workshops led by industry experts from PWC, Bridewell, Wales & West Utilities, Pure Cyber, Airbus and Cardiff University. 

At the end of the day all left inspired and interested in finding out more about the skills they had heard of. There will be lots more opportunities for pupils to gain an insight into cyber security as a career choice in the future.
