It was wonderful to see our Junior pupils, both old and new, arriving at school this week with smiles on their faces. On the first day, we spent time in form groups discussing the year ahead and also some time in Houses where the children made some beautiful collages that spelled out the word INSPIRE!

We held a memorable Junior School assembly- memorable because it was the first time we had all been together for such a gathering for quite some time, and the fact that we could sing together too! The theme of the assembly was Heroes and this theme was carried on in form groups on the second day of term. Pupils researched modern-day heroes and produced some fantastic posters, as well as making their own “shrinky” key fob. 

Overall, it was a great start to the new school year, and was heartwarming to see our SJC family back together again.
