In November pupils from R10 to R16 took part in the BEBRAS national computational thinking challenge as part of their Computing lessons. As a result, 32 pupils were then invited to take part in the next round, known as the Oxford University Computing Challenge (OUCC). The OUCC is an invitation-only event that aims to challenge those that achieved a top 10% finish in the UK BEBRAS Challenge.
This time the challenges focus on the programming ability of pupils to find solutions to computational thinking problems. The OUCC completion date has now passed and we await the results. Round 2 will open on March 7th for those that qualify. Mr Jones will be in touch. Good luck and a big well done to all those that participated in Round 1.
Keep your eyes peeled for future computing related challenges this term.
