On Thursday 9th June, R10 went to Port Eynon as part of their Geography topic on map work. We were unfortunately not very lucky with the weather but R10 were wonderful treasure hunters. The children were fabulous and energetic whilst completing the activities!
During the day, pupils further developed their ability to use Ordnance Survey maps. They were able to find various locations using four and six-figure grid references, as well as compasses, and they followed a set of clues to enable them to find the lost treasure.
It was lovely to see the pupils having so much fun allowing them to experience their Geography skills outside the classroom in the beautiful setting of Port Eynon.
