On Thursday, 23rd May, our R14 and R15 GCSE History pupils visited the Wales Millenium Centre to witness a remarkable piece of theatre.
Tim Price's new play about the life of Aneurin Bevan, the founder of the NHS, has already received incredible reviews during its run at the National Theatre in London. Our pupils were able to enhance their knowledge of Bevan's role in the post-war Labour government, an important aspect of their GCSE course.
Michael Sheen's gripping performance in the lead role was enhanced yet further by a terrific supporting cast.
Well done to our GCSE pupils who represented the school excellently and thank you to Mrs Thomas and her team of staff for organising this worthwhile visit.
