To complement their Geography studies R11 recently visited The Gower. They had the opportunity to follow the River Ilston from the source all the way to the mouth at Three Cliffs Bay. The children took an active part in the river study by measuring the velocity, depth and width of the river at the upper, middle and lower courses of the river.

We all thoroughly enjoyed the day and are looking forward to using our data in our future lessons.
