R8 had the wonderful opportunity to visit Brecon Beacons National Park on Wednesday 28th September. The children were able to see the size of the national park and were able to visit some of the park's beauty spots such as Dinas Rock and Pen Y Fan. We even visited what is said to be the entrance to the home of the sleeping legendary King Arthur and Knights of the Round Table! Unfortunately, even with the loud shouting, R8 were unable to wake them!

To complement their studies back in school R8 also visited some places which allowed them to see how people live use and work in the national park, as well as see all of the duties of the Park Ranger.
