The SJC senior rugby team kicked off their 2023-24 season with a win against Rougemont on Thursday 28th September.

This was a strong performance, following a number of lunchtime training sessions with Mr Williams and Mr Evans.

Tries were scored by Mahadh H, Reuben B, Adi G, Kundi M and Rhys T. Four successful conversions were also kicked by Rhys T. 

There were a number of stand-out performances but a special mention should be given to Emi S in his first ever rugby match. The team are excited for their next fixture in a few weeks time against Cathedral School.
