On Tuesday, 15th February, 39 pupils from R12-R14 took part in a rowing competition today at Sophia Gardens.

Although no medals were brought back for St John's, many of our pupils were close to placing in the top 3 in their categories. Particular mentions to the R13 boys' team who were a mere 4m from taking 3rd place and Katie O'F placing 5th out of 35 competitors!.

Despite our lack of silverware, I am extremely pleased with the way the day went. The pupils were exemplary in all aspects: presentation, performance, attitude, effort and teamwork. They should be extremely proud of themselves; I'm certainly very proud of them. House points will be awarded to all.
