There has been an extensive number of fixtures this half term for all year groups and the pupils produced some outstanding individual performances along the way here are some of the highlights. 

R8/9 

The R8/9 footballers recently played against Rougemont in a football festival. The focus of the festival was to provide all pupils with a positive experience playing the beautiful game. There were some fantastic examples of this through congratulations to all involved. The player of the festival was Ose. 

R12

The R12 Football teams have had a busy half term

playing lots of fixtures this half term against St Clare’s, Rougemount, Kings Monkton and Willows High. The pupils have won lost and drawn games and played some fantastic football along the way. Players of the half term go to Cameron and Isla congratulations to you both.

R13

The R13 Football team has produced some outstanding performances this half term and has really grown in confidence and gelled as a team. The player of the half term goes to Ricky for his outstanding performances in goal and outfield. Ricky always leads by example and is a role model to his peers on the pitch.

R14 

The R14 Football team has had a busy schedule and has played Kings Monkton, Rougemont, Willows High School and St Teilos. The pupils have produced some excellent performances and one of the highlights was beating Willows Hig School in a penalty shoot-out. Congratulations to Will on being named player of the half term for his excellent performances in goal. 

R15

The R15 footballers have produced some outstanding performances playing against Kings Monkton twice, Rougemont twice, Cathays and St Teilos and Willows High. The highlights this half term were the emphatic wins over Rougemont and Willows High. Congratulations to Josh, our captain, on being awarded player of the half term for a string of exceptional individual performances.

R16

The R16 boys have been fantastic this half term and lots have played age groups up representing the 6th form team. The stand-out performance was against Rougemont 6th form where St John’s produced an outstanding performance winning 8/0. The player of the half term goes to Sulaimon for his fantastic presence on the pitch and goal-scoring contributions. 

R13/14 Girls 

The girls squad has been involved in several mixed fixtures but was also involved in an all-girls fixture against St Teilos. Congratulations to all involved and a special mention to Lara for being awarded player of the half term.
