Both of our teams excelled when they took part in the Wales and Northern Ireland heat of the first National Reading Champions Quiz this week, a fiendishly tricky online event testing the children in all aspects of literary knowledge.

Our R11 team consisting of Aimee, Barnaby, Ethan and Mandhira did brilliantly, coming joint fourth out of 23 teams! An achievement made all the more impressive by the fact that they must have been among the youngest in the competition, which featured teams from many secondary schools and was aimed at young people aged between 10 and 14 years old.

Only 1 point separated them from third place, which was taken by our R12 team featuring Anais, Alexandra, Noah and Tatsam. A fantastic result for the school!
