St John's College had the privilege of hosting the prestigious Catholic Independent Schools Conference 2024, a significant event in the educational calendar. The two-day conference was a vibrant meeting point for Headteachers and Senior Leadership Teams from schools nationwide, as well as for representatives of businesses focused on education and event sponsors.
A highlight of the conference was when our Junior, Senior, and Sixth Form pupils led the Morning Prayer on Thursday, 1st February. These young leaders also distributed commemorative bookmarks to all attendees, creating a memorable moment for everyone involved. Adding to the event's rich tapestry were the exceptional musical performances delivered by Lara O, Kushi S, and our esteemed Director of Music, Mr Howard, which set a harmonious tone before the conference dinner.
On the subsequent morning, the angelic voices of the Cathedral Choir echoed through the venue during the Conference Mass, beautifully marking the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord.
We are deeply grateful to CISC for entrusting us with such a pivotal role in the conference. We're equally thankful for our students, who exemplified the best of St John's College, representing both the school and themselves with remarkable distinction.
