This year, St John's College was proud to once again support the Hope St Mellons Christmas Present Appeal at the Beacon Centre. Below, is a message from the organising team.

Firstly to our volunteers, Naomi and Sarah, for coming up with the idea and organising everything. It's over in a flash but it takes a huge amount of coordination. 

Secondly, to Dunelm Cardiff | Community Support. This is our third year working together and we are bowled away by your support. Thank you to everyone who's supported Dunelm's #DeliveringJoy campaign.

Thirdly to the local partners who supported the Toy Shop: Cardiff Rivers Group, Wales & West Housing Group, Together for Trowbridge and St Mellons, St John's College, Cardiff, Church of the Resurrection  St Mellons, Tesco St Mellons and National Literacy Trust.

Finally, and most importantly, to everyone in #StMellons who donated gifts. In the end we had toys, stocking fillers and chocolates for over 200 children and they have all gone to make a child's Christmas more joyful and a parent's Christmas a lot less stressful.
