It has been another busy year for the friends of St. John's College.  We would like to begin this update with a huge thanks to the entire school community.

We began the year with the Christmas card project for infants and juniors followed by the Christmas Fayre, the Charity Quiz & Curry night, finally closing the year with the Summer Fayre in the sunshine on the front lawn.

Our projects this year have seen us raise funds for both school and charity. Our charity partner remains the school's corporate charity Ty Hafan for whom we raised £1000. Since the school and FSJC have been supporting Ty Hafan, the money raised has been the equivalent to paying for the supply of oxygen to the hospice for a year.

We purchased 5 boxes of new playground equipment for the school including cricket sets, hockey sets, footballs, rugby balls and plenty more activities to keep our children busy during break times.

We have welcomed some new members to the committee this year and said goodbye to some members. Our webpage is up and running and will tell you about all the new events coming up.

Thank you to everyone who has got involved and supported us whether helping out, donating prizes, cakes and bottles, or attending our events.
