Can you imagine an R11 “Rivers Trip” with no trip….and no river? R11 was lucky enough to have a visit from Dawn Thomas, the Lead Instructor at Naturedays. Using the many tools that Dawn brought with her, along with their imaginations, R11 pupils were able to learn more about the three river processes (erosion, transport, and deposition), study samples of river water, and use their bodies to recreate a number of natural phenomena.
The visit was the perfect complement to their current unit of study in Geography. Thank you for a wonderful day, Dawn!
