In R7, the children are continuing to work on nouns and adjectives in their English lessons and addition of three numbers in Maths. Work on times tables and handwriting is ongoing!

When they were in R6, the children entered a national competition to have a poem published in a children’s poetry book. They all wrote a poem about a polar bear and all of the poems were published. On Wednesday, Mr Moody came to our assembly to present the children with their certificates.

The children have all painted a fantastic bumble bee pebble for the garden and were also asked to create an alien pebble for their homework. We had some weird and wonderful aliens coming out of their bookbags on Monday morning and next week the children will be writing alien stories, using plenty of adjectives to describe their aliens.
