This week, the children in R7 have been thinking about autumn. They went on an autumn walk and collected crunchy, dry leaves, acorns, mossy sticks and twigs and lots of conkers, some of which were still in their prickly cases. They used these to have a go at the traditional game of ‘Conkers’ and they were surprised at how hard it was to hit their opponent’s conker! In Art, the children have been painting pebbles to go in the flower borders by the gate so that we can have colour there in the coming winter months.
